Defence attorney Jonas Bechmann makes his living getting murderers acquitted – that is until he becomes a murder suspect. After a night out, he ends up in a hotel room with a young girl.

The following morning, she is lying on the floor, brutally murdered, and all the evidence points to Jonas. To clear his name, he must leave his whole life behind and go on the run. But Jonas soon discovers that he has been ensnared in a larger game of truth and falsehood, where the line between right and wrong becomes swiftly erased.
