Miso Film was founded in 2004 by the Danish producer duo Jonas Allen and Peter Bose. In 2019, the company was acquired by Fremantle, one of the world’s largest producers and distributors of TV programmes.

Miso Film aims to create stories that will attract, inspire, surprise and entertain a global audience with talent from the world of TV series and feature films.

With offices in Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo, Miso Film is behind several successful TV series and feature films across the Nordics. Having produced over 200+ hours of entertainment, the company has become a Scandinavian powerhouse.

Code of Conduct

Miso Film has a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of discrimination, bullying, harassment, sexism or other abusive, offensive, or humiliating behaviors – whether verbal, written or non-verbal.

All crew, cast members, employees and other personnel involved in Miso Film’s productions must agree to honor and respect Miso Film’s Code of Conduct and Zero-Tolerance Policy prior to being involved in any of our productions.

If any unacceptable behavior is experienced or witnessed, we expect and encourage anyone involved to speak up, so that immediate action can be taken.

Environmental Sustainability

As part of Fremantle, Miso Film has committed to being climate neutral by 2030. To achieve this goal, we have teamed up with ALBERT, a data-driven behavior regulating tool that measures the environmental impact of film and TV productions.

ALBERT helps us gain better knowledge of our environmental footprint and alternative production methods, so that we can minimize CO2 emissions and climate damaging waste from Miso Film productions.

ALBERT will be implemented on our productions starting in 2022 and onwards.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Miso Film sees diversity, equity, and inclusion as valuable resources that we want to promote and secure at our offices, on our productions, and in the themes and narratives we create.

We see ourselves as part of a greater ecosystem within the industry that must act to encourage it to ensure equal representation.

At Miso Film, we cultivate and develop new talent ideas to bring new stories and themes to light.
